Measure release of the heterotrimeric G-protein complex from G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs). When activated GPCRs catalyze the exchange of GDP for GTP in the G-alpha subunit of the Galpha-beta-gamma heterotrimeric complex, resulting in the disassociation of these subunits from the GPCR of interest.
